The following terms and conditions govern all use of the London Institute of Photography website and all content, services and products available at or through the website, including, but not limited to, London Institute of Photography free and paid services.
Please read this Agreement carefully before accessing or using the Website. By accessing or using any part of the web site, you agree to become bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the Website or use any services.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace any part of this Agreement.
Usage rights
By using this website you agree to accept these website terms of use. If you do not agree with these terms, you should exit www.liop.co.uk immediately.
By signing up to one of our courses, students allow London Institute of Photography to use the images produced during the course for promotional purposes.
Content Rights
The copyright and all other rights in all of the material contained on, in or available through this website are owned by London Institute of Photography, its affiliates and/or the original copyright holder, or the material is included with the permission of the rights owner. London Institute of Photography website is made available to provide information about our courses. You may not use this website for any manner or for any purpose which is illegal or unauthorized or for any commercial purpose whatsoever. You may not use, copy, reproduce, modify, edit, publish, redistribute, transmit, commercially exploit, store or upload the content on this website without the prior written consent of London Institute of Photography.
The Information on this Site
All content and functionality on this website is provided on an “as is” basis. London Institute of Photography does not accept any liability arising from any inaccuracy or omission in the information on this website. We advise that you confirm the accuracy of any information before relying on it.
Liability
In the event a workshop is cancelled, for any reason, the extent of our liability is limited to the return of fees paid to us.
All workshop participants accept full responsibility for personal injury and/or personal losses during the period of the workshop. Applications and payments are an acknowledgment of the terms and conditions as outlined in this site.
Payments / Refunds / Cancellations / Change of dates / Vouchers
We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties
All participants will be refunded in full within 14 days if a workshop is cancelled by London Institute of Photography.
If you decide to withdraw from a course you must inform us at least 14 days before the first day of the course.
We will refund your fees, less a £50 withdrawal fee for 10h courses, £100 for 20h courses and £200 for the Professional Photography Course if students cancel a course less than 30 days before the first day of the course. No refund or part-refund of payments will be made to you if you do not notify us of your withdrawal 14 days before the start of the course.
No change of the booking will be offered after the start of the course.
No refund or part-refund of fees will be made for no-shows, for withdrawal after the course starts or for booking on to the wrong level.
No refund or part-refund of fees will be made for discounted workshops.
No refund or part-refund of fee will be made for bookings that are made before you have a valid UK Visa. No refund or part-refund will be made for voucher bookings.
Vouchers and/or discounts can only be redeemed/used individually and their value can not be combined.
In case of an emergency we will offer to change the course date once. After this, no further changes to the booking (including cancellations and refunds) can be made.
In case of a booking made with paying by instalments the payment schedule is legally binding and the student owes the full course fee to the London Institute of Photography.
London Institute of Photography reserves the right to cancel a course if the required number of places has not filled. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a course a full refund or transfer is offered.
Bookings
Full payment must be received in order to guarantee your space reservation.
By booking a course on our webpage you are entering a legally binding contract with the London Institute of Photography.
Bookings can only be rescheduled with 14 days notice and must be taken within 6 months of the original booking.
We reserve the right to deny any applicant.
Courses
Courses typically contain a 1h lunch break and a 10min tea break in the morning and afternoon.
We reserve the right to change or modify course content without further notice.
Professional Photography Course
The Professional Photography Course module dates are fixed and no changes can be made.
To successfully complete the Professional Photography Course and receive the certificate a minimum attendance of 80% of the course hours total is required.
