Tim Andrews was working as a solicitor in 2005 when, at the age of 54, he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease.  For many people, this might have meant looking forward to a depressing future dealing with an incurable degenerative condition. However, in Tim’s case it was the catalyst for an incredible outpouring of creativity dominated by his photographic projects, “Over the Hill” (which ran from 2007 to 2016 and saw Tim photographed by 425 photographers) and “….And Far Away” which began in 2016 and has continued his collaboration with photographers. Over the last 12 years, Tim has worked with Rankin, Steve Bloom, Harry Borden, Jillian Edelstein, Mike McCartney, Clare Park and Vanessa Winship amongst others. He has held exhibitions in Woking, Farley Farm, Guernsey, London, Haslemere, Southport and Brighton and the projects have been featured in the National Press and many photographic journals and also covered by BBCTV in The Culture Show. Tim has also spoken about his experiences several times and has now been invited by the LIOP to be interviewed about his work. Tim also makes films and writes Children’s books and Poetry.
