José is a Portuguese photographer who has lived in London since 2007. He originally graduated as an engineer working in various international locations and he used photography to document his travels. Photography soon became a vital way of seeing the world and portraying the different realities he experienced. In 2010, he opted for a career change, becoming a full-time photographer. José is deeply involved and interested in urban identity, social behaviour, and social change. He also strongly believes in a multicultural and open society where dialogue, sharing, and respect for one another is the only way to create a better life for all.
