Conducted live on Zoom, our virtual classroom emulates the experience of face-to-face learning, accessible from anywhere globally. Our course goes beyond lectures, offering real-time interactions where you can freely ask questions and gain insights from your tutors. Additionally, the course includes practical assignments which you can undertake in your own environment, further extending your skills through experiential learning. What is this course about?
The Intermediate Photography Course provides an engaging and in-depth exploration of what it takes to create outstanding photographs. This 10-hour course will teach you how to craft your images using the viewfinder and camera settings, emphasising the importance of learning to see in photography.
Through a series of on-location assignments and review sessions you will acquire the skills to recognise and control distracting elements in your images, design impactful photo projects, and effectively tell a story through your photographs. The course covers essential composition principles, such as object balance, the Rule of Thirds, and the strategic use of negative space. In addition, you will learn about the significance of contrast in your photographs and how to optimise your images during post-production.
By the end of this project-based course, you will possess the knowledge and expertise to create visually arresting and well-composed photographs that showcase your distinct artistic perspective.

What do I need?
Digital Camera (DSLR or Mirrorless) with Manual Exposure Mode, laptop with Adobe Lightroom Classic (can be a free trial) and Zoom installed.
